Presented as a pack of five cards, this is one of two different designs produced exclusively for St Paul's Cathedral using the iconic style images drawn by Quentin Blake with the words by Micheal Morpurgo from his book, "On Angel Wings", published by Eggmont.
On Sunday 21st December 2008, St Paul's Cathedral will host a dramatised reading of "On Angel Wings" at the 6pm service. Donations received at the service will be divided equally between the Cathedral Education Department and the charity farms for City Children.
St Paul's Cathedral Education Department welcomes over 25,000 UK school children a yea and will use the money to offered subsidised visits for inner-city London schools.
Michael and Clare Morpurgo founded Farms for City Children in 1976. The Charity offers urban children from all over the country a unique opportunity to spend a whole week working together on one of three real farms in the heart of the countryside. |
